Country punk-rockers Lucero, along with supporters Shovel & Rope, performed at Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre last night.
Dubbed “one of the hardest working bands in the music industry,” Lucero is infamous for performing 150-200 shows per year since 2001.
Charleston, South Carolina folk duo Shovels & Rope consists of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst, and their blend of harmony driven folk, rock and country are often created with a modest set-up including only two guitars, a kick drum, a snare, a few tambourines and a harmonica.
