102.1 the Edge, celebrated the best of independent and alternative music in Canada at the Edge CASBY Music Awards last night at Sound Academy in Toronto, and after nationwide fan voting, the 2013 Edge CASBY Music Award winners were announced:
Molson Canadian Favourite New Artist: Walk Off The Earth
Favourite New Single: Thirst – City And Colour
Favourite Sugar Beach Session: Hollerado
Favourite New Record: The Sticks – Mother Mother
Beyond the awards, the show also featured high-energy performances by some of Canada’s favourite independent and alternative rock bands including Hollerado, Said The Whale, Walk Off The Earth, Serena Ryder and Mother Mother.
