Northwestern Indiana’s Native, who released their sophomore album, Orthodox, on August 20th via Sargent House, and who have “quietly built themselves a large word-of-mouth following in the underground as an incendiary live act, through their impeccable musicianship, ominous chords, apocalyptic vocals and innovative rhythms hit with an intensity that can only be described as akin to a white-knuckle thrill ride,” performed at Parts & Labour in Toronto last night with Toronto-based post-punk band Animal Faces, who released a 7″ split with Montreal-based grunge band Solids, on March 7th.
