Newly reunited Vancouver-based alt rock quintet Moist, who’s last album, Mercedes 5 and Dime, was released in June 1999 via EMI, and who’s lead singer David Usher has since enjoyed an acclaimed solo career, performed at Sound Academy in Toronto last night with budding Toronto-based indie rock quartet The Beaches, who formed only last year and have since played the Toronto date on Warped Tour 2013, and have opened for the likes of Mother Mother.
