Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (USS), who will release their new album, Advanced Basics, on February 11, with a new single expected in January, performed at Sound Academy in Toronto last night as part of the Jingle Bell Concert Series with Vancouver-based blues rock trio Head of the Herd, who released their Garth Richardson-produced (Rage Against the Machine, Biffy Clyro) second album, By This Time Tomorrow, via Universal Music Canada, which includes the title track that features Mother Mother’s Jasmin Parkin, and Toronto-based alternative/country seven-piece Blackie Jackett Jr.
