The JUNO Concert Series Presents: Songs From Winnipeg took over The Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on Saturday night with an engaging music showcase that featured Randy Bachman (The Guess Who), Cuff the Duke, Harlan Pepper, Jeremy Fisher, Del Barber, Ridley Bent, Daniel Greaves, Nikki Yanofsky, original members of Harlequin, who played their favourite songs from Winnipeg musical greats like Neil Young, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, The Guess Who, The Watchmen, Streetheart and The Weakerthans) to raise money for Musicounts, whose mission it is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socio-economic circumstances or cultural background, have access to a music program through their school.
