Acclaimed Toronto-based pop-rock quartet Barenaked Ladies, who released their eleventh album, Grinning Streak, on June 4 via Vanguard Records, performed the first of three sold-out shows at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, where they performed a variety of hits including “One Week”, “If I Had a Million Dollars”, “Brian Wilson”, and “Pinch Me”, in addition to Christmas songs like “Sleigh Bells”, “Carol of the Bells”, “I Saw Three Ships” and “Trepak”, from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, opus 71a.
