Juno Award-nominated Vancouver/Portland-based indie pop band Wake Owl, who are expected to release their debut album, The Private World of Paradise, on March 4th via Rezolute Music, which was produced by Richard Swift (Tennis, Foxygen), performed at The Garrison in Toronto last night with Toronto-based synthpop artist LYON, who released her debut EP, Indian Summer, on August 20th, 2013 via Black Box Recordings, and Montreal-based post-punk band Ought, who are expected to release their new album, More Than Any Other Day, on April 29th, 2014 via Constellation Records.
