English new wave artist Gary Numan, who topped the charts with two hits with “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?” and “Cars”, and who released his twentieth album, Splinter (Songs from a Broken Mind), on October 8th, 2013 via Mortal/Cooking Vinyl, performed at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto last night with LA-based spacerock artist Big Black Delta, which is a side-project of Mellowdrone vocalist/bassist Jonathan Bates, and who released their second self-titled album on June 4th, 2013 via Master of Bates, and London/LA duo Roman Remains, which features Liela Moss and Toby Butler (from The Duke Spirit).
