The first day of Montreal’s Pouzza Fest began with a slew of solid peformances by acclaimed Brooklyn-based indie rock band The Hold Steady, who released their sixth album, Teeth Dreams, on March 25th, 2014 via Washington Square/Razor & Tie, New Jersey-based indie pop-punk band The Front Bottoms, who released their second album, Talon of the Hawk, on May 21st, 2013 via Bar/None, and who were joined on stage by Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn, Brooklyn-based punk band The So So Glos, who released their fourth album, Blowout, last year, Columbus-OH-based alternative country band Two Cow Garage, who released their fifth album, The Death Of The Self Preservation Society, last year via Last Chance Records, Toronto-based pop-punk band Junior Battles, and Burlington, ON-based pop-punk band The Penske File, who released their debut album, A Restless Symphony, on April 26th, 2013.
