Brooklyn-based funk/soul band Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, who are huge proponents of using analog recording equipment, and who released their fifth album, Give the People What They Want, on January 14th, 2014 via Daptone Records, performed the first of two shows at Massey Hall in Toronto last night with Grammy Award-winning UK R&B/Soul singer James Hunter, who released his fifth album, Minute By Minute, in 2013 via Universal.
