French alternative rock band Phoenix, who released their fifth album, Bankrupt!, on April 19th, 2013 via Glassnote/Atlantic, which spawned the singles “Entertainment”, “Trying To Be Cool”, and “S.O.S. in Bel Air”, performed at Sound Academy in Toronto last night with Albert Hammond Jr., who is best known as the guitarist for New York indie rock band The Strokes, and who released his debut EP, AHJ, on October 8th, 2013 via Cult Records.
