After a few days of parties and film screenings, the music portion of NXNE 2014 kicked-off on June 18 at an array of downtown Toronto venues, including Tattoo Toronto, which featured a “secret show” by Brooklyn-based noise pop duo Sleigh Bells, who released their third album, Bitter Rivals, on October 4th, 2013 via Mom + Pop, along with sets from New York City-based alternative R&B singer Autre Ne Veut, who released his second album, Anxiety, last year, Brooklyn-based electronic band Young Magic, who released their second album, Breathing Statues, on May 5th, 2014 via Carpark Records, and more!
