Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah, who released their seventh album, Koloss, on March 23rd, 2012 via Nuclear Blast, which debuted at number 27 on the Canadian Album Chart, performed at the Sound Academy on June 19 with North Carolina-based progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me, who released their sixth album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, on October 9th, 2012 via Metal Blade Records, which serves as their longest running studio album to date.
