Toronto-based pop-rock band Weaves, who released their new self-titled EP on April 1st, 2014 via Buzz Records, performed at Massey Hall on June 21st as part of NXNE 2014 when the opened for experimental pop band, tUnE-yArDs, who released their third album, Nikki Nack, on May 5th, 2014 via 4AD.
