The Strokes frontman Julian Casblancas’ side-project Julian Casablancas+The Voidz, who released their debut album, Tyranny, on September 23rd, 2014 via Cult Records, which features the singles “Human Sadness”, and “Where No Eagles Fly”, performed at Kool Haus in Toronto last night with Seattle-based experimental hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces, who released their second album, Lese Majesty, on July 28th, 2014 via Sub Pop, and Brooklyn-based punk band Cerebral Ballzy, who released their second album, Jaded & Faded, on June 17th, 2014 via Cult Records, which was produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio.
