Scottish heavy metal band Alestorm, who released their fourth album, Sunset of the Golden Age, on August 1st, 2014 via Napalm Records, which is their first album to feature new permanent band member, Elliot Vernon, on keyboards, performed at Mavericks in Ottawa last night with New Jersey-based thrash metal band Swashbuckle, who released a four-song EP called We Hate The Sea on August 5th, 2014 via Get This Right Records, and San Diego-based heavy metal band The Dread Crew of Oddwood.
