Frontman for Mercury Prize-winning UK indie rock band Gomez, who released their seventh album, Whatever’s On Your Mind, on June 3rd, 2011 via The End Records, Ben Ottewell, who released his second solo album, Rattlebag, last year via Tarka Records, performed at The Drake Hotel in Toronto last night with Toronto-by-way-of-Sarnia singer-songwriter Andrew Austin, who is best known for his song in the Alexander Keith’s “Toast This Life” commerical and who released his new album While It’s Still Light Out, on October 8th, 2013 via MapleMusic Recordings, which was recorded with with David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals).
