Lieutenant, which is the debut solo project from Nate Mendel; best known as bassist for Grammy-winning alt rock band Foo Fighters, and highly influential emo band Sunny Day Real Estate, performed at the Mod Club in Toronto last night in support of his debut solo album, If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week, (out March 10th, 2015 via Dine Alone Records), along with openers B.C.-based indie rock band Yukon Blonde, who released their second album, Tiger Talk, on March 20th, 2012.
