Australian ska/jazz band The Cat Empire, who released their sixth album, Steal the Light, on May 17th, 2013 via Two Shoes/Inertia, which featured the single “Brighter Than Gold”, performed at The Danforth Music Hall in Toronto last night with Victoria, B.C-based indie rock band Current Swell, who released their fourth album, Ulysses, on May 6th, 2014, which was produced by Nathan Sabatino (Dr. Dog, White Rabbits) at Vancouver’s Greenhouse Studios.
