Vancouver-based indie rock quintet Mother Mother, who released their fifth album, Very Good Bad Thing, on November 4th, 2014 via Island Records/Universal Music Canada, which follows up their 2012 album, The Sticks, performed at Echo Beach in Toronto last night as part of Edgefest 2015 along with South African alternative rock/kwaito band Kongos, who released their second album, Lunatic, on December 28th, 2012, with a re-release on February 25th, 2014, which features the singles “I’m Only Joking”, “Come With Me Now”, and “I Want to Know”, and Toronto-based singer-songwriter Scott Helman, who released his debut album, Augusta, on October 14th, 2014 via Warner Music Canada.
