Charles Bradley announces new album + 2016 tour dates

Charles Bradley will release his third album, Changes, on April 1 via Dunham Records.

Brooklyn-based funk/soul/R&B artist Charles Bradley will release his third album, Changes, on April 1st via Dunham Records, the imprint on “House of Soul” Daptone Records. Watch the powerful video for the new single “Changes” below.

Bradley has also announced plans to bring his dynamic live show to stages across North America & Europe. One of those dates includes an April 23rd headline show at the iconic Beacon Theatre. Fan presale for the show starts tomorrow and tickets go on sale to the public this Friday here. He also just performed at the Sasquatch Festival Launch Party last night in Seattle, and will headline the Village Voice Pazz & Jop Event tonight at NYC’s Webster Hall. The remarkable against-all-odds rise of Charles Bradley since the release of his 2011 debut album No Time For Dreaming has been well documented. He transcended a bleak life on the streets and struggled through a series of ill-fitting jobs before finally being discovered by Daptone’s Gabriel Roth. The year following the release of No Time For Dreaming was one triumph after another including a breakthrough performance at SXSW, several television performances and having the album named to many year end “best of” lists. The soul singer’s ascent continued with the 2013 release of his triumphant second album Victim of Love, which saw Bradley emerging from his past heartaches stronger and more confident, overflowing with love to share. With Changes, the funk & soul powerhouse brings music fans of all ages another unforgettable set of songs and will continue to bring his live show to stages around the world.
