Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Nas, who released his newest album, Life Is Good, on July 13th, 2012 via Def Jam, which featured the singles “Nasty”, “The Don”, and “Daughters”, and which followed up his 2010 collaborative album with Damian Marley entitled Distant Relatives, and which features lyrical themes concerning ancestry, poverty, and the plight of Africa, performed at House of Vans Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York on March 16th with Brooklyn-based experimental rock band Yeasayer, who will release their fourth album, Amen & Goodbye, on April 1st via Mute.
