Toronto-based alt pop duo Darcys have unveiled a new single entitled “Miracle.” The bright, summery track was produced by recent Grammy and JUNO-award winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Julian Casablancas).

The band recorded “Miracle” at Red Bull Studios in Auckland, New Zealand, and is their first commercial release since 2013’s Polaris Music Prize and JUNO-nominated album Warring.

The track, mixed by Matty Green (The Weeknd, TV On The Radio) and Mastered by Emily Lazar (Vampire Weekend, Haim), sees the band – consisting of Jason Couse and Wes Marskell – exploring its pop ambitions and drawing from long-standing influences like Prince, The Killers, MGMT and Chromeo.

“Miracle” will be available worldwide on Arts & Crafts on April 22. The band will play select shows in the first half of 2016 including their first live date in two years on May 25 at The Mod Club in Toronto for Red Bull Sound Select. More dates to be announced.
