Monster Energy Center of Gravity announces 2016 lineup

Monster Energy Center of Gravity (MECOG) will debut at Wasaga Beach this August 19th, 20th & 21st, and has announced its lineup. Headlining the festival will be Grammy award winning and Dutch music sensation Tiësto, American hip-hop and rap legend Ice Cube, and two-time DJ Mag Top 100 winner of the year, Hardwell.

Joining them will be a mix of electronic, hip-hop and indie rock names including, Atmosphere, Showtek, Ty Dolla $ign, Dragonette, Cash Cash, Mother Mother, Sharam, Morgan Page, Bit Funk,  Hunter Siegel, SNBRN, Joe Ghost, Mike Williams, Party Favor, Peking Duk, TroyBoi, Unlike Pluto, and Vicetone.

“Wasaga Beach is a perfect fit for MECOG,” says festival founder Scott Emslie. “The festival is meant to be an escape from the city to a beach town for a weekend packed with high energy sports, day cabanas, lakeside house music, sunset headliner performances, and shared memories with likeminded people. It’s hard to find a better location than Wasaga Beach to create the MECOG experience.”
