After taking the internet by storm with the surprise Christmas Eve digital release of Run The Jewels 3, rap super-duo Run The Jewels have unveiled its latest adventure in cutting-edge expression, ARTJ; an Augmented Reality-based platform uniting RTJ’s passion for art & technology with their desire to reach fans in new and compelling ways.

Art from the duo’s vinyl, CD, posters, stickers, even t-shirts and digital images, have all been enabled for ARTJ, and unlock customized RTJ content on the user’s phone when pointed at the image. Featuring original content from Tim Saccenti, Hector Arias, & Nick Gazin (with more artists TBA), and developed by mobile app company Experture, this marks the first phase of the wider ARTJ marketing activations that Team RTJ are rolling out throughout the year, with content updated and new images released regularly. Fans and curiosity seekers can download the ARTJ app from App Store here, and watch an awesome demo of ARTJ below.

Finally, the group’s epic “Run The World Tour” kicked off Wednesday night with a momentous sold out show in Philadelphia. As announced last week, Nick Hook and Gangsta Boo were added to the bill, joining special guests The Gaslamp Killer and Cuz as support for the North American leg. A full list of dates is below.
