Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Steve Gunn, who was formerly a guitarist in Kurt Vile’s backing band, The Violators, and who released his newest album, Eyes on the Lines, on June 3rd, 2016 via Matador, which followed up his 2015 album, Steve Gunn/Kurt Vile, in 2015, performed at the Great Hall in Toronto last night with singer-songwriter Lee Ranaldo, who is best known as a co-founder of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth, and singer-songwriter Meg Baird.
