Portland-based hip-hop artist Aesop Rock, who released his seventh album, The Impossible Kid, on April 29th, 2016 via Rhymesayers, which spawned a 48-minute video for the entire album, which is a shot-for-shot remake of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, using small figurines, performed at Rebel in Toronto last night with New York City-based rapper Homeboy Sandman, who released his newest album, Kindness for Weakness, on May 6th, 2016 via Stones Throw.
