Vancouver-based rapper SonReal, who released their newest EP, The Name, in 2016, which followed up his 2015 EP, For The Town, and who has been nominated for two Juno Awards (2003 Rap Recording of the Year for “The Closers”, and 2004 Rap Recording of the Year for “Everywhere We Go”, along with two MMVAs including 2013 Hip Hop Video of the Year for “Hometown”, and 2015 Hip Hop Video of the Year for “Preach”, performed at the Mod Club in Toronto last night.
