Critically acclaimed rock band Tool have announced tour dates for May and June 2017.

The tour will kick off on May 24th in Fairfax, VA at the Eaglebank Arena, and is set to wrap on June 8th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. Full list of dates below.

Emerging in the early 1990s, Tool bridged the gap between classic heavy metal and alternative rock, mixing grinding guitars, dark thundering rhythms, and challenging lyrics. The band never appeared in its own videos, which were typically intense and macabre, yet their brooding sound found a large mainstream following.

The band emerged with a heavy metal sound on their first studio album, Undertow (1993), and later became a dominant act in the alternative metal movement, with the release of their second album, Ænima in 1996. Their efforts to unify musical experimentation, visual arts, and a message of personal evolution continued, with Lateralus (2001) and the most recent album, 10,000 Days (2006), gaining the band critical acclaim, and commercial success around the world.
