Los Angeles-based pop-punk band Hey Violet, who released their second EP, Brand New Moves, on August 16th, 2016 via Hi or Hey/5Mode/Capitol, which featured the singles “Brand New Moves”, and “Pure”, and which followed up their 2015 debut EP, I Can Feel It, performed at the Shelter in Detroit last night with singer-songwriter Jessarae, whose influences include Jack White, Bon Iver, Nick Drake, and Ryan Adams.
