Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper’s concert at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on May 24th has been postponed due to high water levels on Lake Ontario.

In a statement, concert promoter Live Nation assured fans that the concert has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 30th at Budweiser Stage at 8pm

“Due to the unprecedented water levels of Lake Ontario, the venue is continuing to experience a level of water intake that will jeopardize production of the concert and fan experience,” Live Nation said in the statement.

“Live Nation is working tirelessly to ensure the venue will be ready for fans to receive only the best concert experience at the newly revitalized Budweiser Stage on May 30th.”

Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled show date are still valid and will be honoured on the rescheduled date.

Refunds are available at point of purchase until Friday, May 26th at 5pm EST in the event ticket holders are unable to attend the rescheduled date.
