Based on his experiences in the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, Sicilian singer-songwriter Fabrizio Cammarata has premiered his brand new video for “”Come And Leave A Rose”, which was directed by Manuela di Pisa and stars Yauheniya Cherta.

“I was in Paris at Pere Lachaise Cemetery and there was an unmarked grave that seemed to gently ask for my attention, as if it were a damned soul whose only rescue was memory,” says Cammarata of the new video. “Give a name to that soul and it shall be free. I put a flower on that tombstone and walked away. To give that soul a proof. Months after, my love story ended, and it felt like our love was like that damned soul. It asked for a name, for memory, legitimacy. While shooting this video we asked Yauheniya to personify that love, and to look for the passer-by’s compassion, only with her eyes. At the end she’s covered in flowers.”

With a remarkable voice, unique guitar playing style and distinctive writing, Cammarata blends his Mediterranean roots with inspiration from travels around cosmopolitan hubs and explorations of visual and performing arts. The soundtrack to Cammarata’s life features cameos by Bob Dylan, Fabrizio De André and Nick Drake, evocative stories, authentic voices. Fabrizio has extensively toured his acclaimed 2011 album, Rooms, opening for Ben Harper, Patti Smith, Iron & Wine, Patti Smith, Daniel Johnston, Hindi Zahra and Emiliana Torrini.
