Having retired in 1998 due to a serious back injury, and then returning as WWE commissioner in 1998, and eventually as a full-time competitor, HBK proved he could still go with the best of them. To see the Heartbreak Kid return for the match and then win, well – it wasn’t just a win for him, but for all of us.
