EDM Artist Datsik Accused of Sexual Misconduct

EDM DJ/Producer Datsik has been accused of sexual misconduct. A pair of Twitter accounts (one having since been deleted) posted several screen grabs of conversations where fans shared their stories of Datsik allegedly encouraging women to take drugs on his tour bus, and forcing himself on reluctant women.

Eagle-eyed fans have also dug up old tweets from Datsik’s official account that made light of sexual assault. (The Tweets have since been deleted.)

In response to the allegations, Datsik released a statement on his official Twitter page saying in part, “I don’t condone that kind of behavior and I care about every single person that I meet, on the real. I know this is a sensitive subject and I am also a sensitive dude, so please say what u must but honestly I want u to know that this shit means the world to me. […] I will make a bigger effort to make sure that nothing I do will be misinterpreted in the future.”

In addition, several prominent EDM artists, including: Krewella, Jauz, Alison Wonderland, and White Walls have expressed their thoughts on the allegations via social media.
