In a new feature to Aesthetic Magazine, we are proud to announce a collaboration with Toronto-based writer/photographer/podcast host Adam R. Harrison and his new show, The Adamantium Podcast, which features local and celebrity guests engage in casual conversations on art, culture, and entertainment.

In episode 21, Teri Gender Bender, lead singer of garage punk band Le Butcherettes discusses the inspiration behind her unique and passionate style as well as the influence of her Mexican roots, feminist beliefs, and family’s struggles. We also chat about their upcoming fourth studio album produced with Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads, touring with The Flaming Lips, and the bright future of women in rock bands.
