Exclusive Premiere: Watch Sci-Fi Romance’s New Video for “The War In Me”

By: Staff –

Los Angeles-based americana band Sci-Fi Romance is back with a new video for their track “The War In Me”, which you can stream exclusively via Aesthetic Magazine below. The song is a rumbling, smokey number about inner turmoil, and one of the bands most stripped down and direct songs yet.

Based in Los Angeles, the band is singer-songwriter Vance Kotrla, as well as a group of collaborators including Jody Stark (cello), Mr. Mike (drums, art), Johnnie Kotrla (bass), Kurt Bloom (drums), and other wonderful people. The band’s debut album, …and surrender my body to the flames, was released in 2010, and followed up in 2012 by the concept album The Ghost of John Henry, and 2016’s highly praised Dust Among the Stars. They have also released two EPs, October, based on classic horror movies and recorded on an old analogue cassette machine, and a collection of singles and b-sides, A Burning Ember to a Grove of Trees.
