Exclusive: Stream Logan Richard and Moira & Claire’s New Curated Spotify Playlist Feat. Songs That Inspired Their New Single “Unrequited Love Blues”

By: Staff –

To celebrate the release of Logan Richard and Moira & Claire’s new duet on “Unrequited Love Blues”, the emerging east coast-based singer-songwriters curated a brand new Spotify playlist featuring a collection of songs that inspired the new track.

Logan Songs:

“I Don’t Miss You” – JP Saxe

An incredible song that really had me wanting to create something poppy and catchy.

“The Hardest Part” – Olivia Dean feat. Leon Bridges

Another amazing pop song that was on the reference playlist for the recording of our song. A super powerful and catchy song, with the sweet duet. A lot of what we were trying to do.

“More Time” – May Erlewine

A song I was listening to endlessly during the recording process. So beautifully written and produced.

“Wichita Lineman” – Glen Campbell

My most listened to song of 2023 I think. Inspired a lot of what I worked on, “Unrequited Love Blues” being one of those things.

Distance” – Emily King

Another amazing soul infused pop song, with incredible production and writing.

Moira/Claire Songs:

“Too Much Time In My House” – Leith Ross

This beautiful song was on our reference playlist for “Unrequited Love Blues”. We especially love the drum patterns in the bridge, and wanted to create something similar in our own song. During the recording process, “Unrequited Loves Blues” became something totally different, and we absolutely loved it!

“All My Ghosts” – Lizzy McAlpine

Another track from our reference playlist, and the finished product of “Unrequited Love Blues” has very similar energy to this song. We were definitely inspired by the guitar tone and drum beats.

“Homesick” – Noah Kahan

Of course we had to add a Noah Kahan song! His album was the soundtrack to our 2023.

“Never Need Me” – Rachel Chinouriri

This song just came out and it is already a fav.

“No Drugs” – Pinegrove

A little late to be hopping on the Pinegrove train, but currently obsessed with this song. The stripped back production is so beautiful.
