Exclusive: Stream Mint Simon’s “Songs That Give Me The Good – Bad Feeling” Spotify Playlist

By: Staff –

To celebrate the release of Mint Simon’s new single “BAD”, the emerging indie pop artist who is best known as the front person of indie-pop band, Caveboy curated a brand new Spotify playlist featuring songs that give them that “Good – Bad feeling”.

Watch the video for “BAD” here.

Chris Isaak – “Wicked Game”

Couldn’t make this playlist without the wicked kinda bad. (so hard not to include anything from the Wicked soundtrack so this will do).

Lake Street Dive – “Better Than”

A bit of romantic bad good, good bad feeling. A little (lot of) heartache in this song, but it somehow brings in and captures a feeling of simultaneous softness.

The Last Dinner Party – “Nothing Matters”

This song feels so cathartic, I love how theatrical it is. The vocal performance is 10/10, which I think is part of why it hits people so hard.

KD Lang – “Constant Craving (Fashionably Late remix)”

I had to include KD Lang, and this remix gives me dark good bad lesbian club energy.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra – “So Good At Being In Trouble”

I love this song, the vocal melodies, as always with UMO, are so interesting but really convey a cheeky kinda good bad feeling.

Melissa Etheridge – “I’m The Only One”

This song is the ultimate bad, good, longing. No one longs or hits ‘BAD,’ the way Melissa does.

The Cure – “Lullaby”

This song is here for one of the most nostalgic hooks. It also hits right in the crosspoint of sexy and emotional.

Chappell Roan – “Casual”

Super into Chappell right now, bringing the queers some incredible songwriting and theatrical energy.

Fleetwood Mac – “Silver Springs”

I’m big on vocal performance, and this song encapsulates what it means to feel every word you sing. ‘Time casts a spell on you, but you won’t forget me’ is such a good-bad punch you in the gut line.

King Princess – “PAIN”

I LOVE the instrumentation of this song, and love the 90s kickback drums. It gives me real queer bad boy vibes. The video is also great.
