Cage The Elephant’s concert at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta on June 28th opened with an explosive rendition of “Broken Boy,” featuring a dazzling display of pyrotechnics that lit up the stage and thrilled the audience from the first note. The fiery visuals perfectly matched the song’s energy, creating an electrifying atmosphere that set the tone for the night. Lead singer Matt Shultz’s dynamic stage presence was immediately apparent as he moved energetically across the stage, engaging with fans and amplifying the excitement in the arena. Following the high-octane opener, the band smoothly transitioned into “Cry Baby,” a fan favorite that had the crowd singing along passionately. 

During “Spiderhead,” guitarist Brad Shultz took the energy to another level by jumping into the crowd and playing among the fans. This unexpected moment brought an exhilarating sense of intimacy to the performance, with fans cheering wildly and capturing the moment on their phones. “Too Late to Say Goodbye” followed, offering a haunting melody and emotional depth that drew listeners into its narrative. The first five songs concluded with “Good Time,” a lively and upbeat track that brought smiles to faces and had everyone dancing, ensuring the concert started on a high note and left the crowd eagerly anticipating what was to come.
