Somebody’s watching… you
Legends of Horror is a theatrical interpretation of classic horror characters, themes and décor known as promenade theatre, where guests wander at their own pace for an hour through an interactive set as the sun sets and dare we say it, the howling moon rises. With jumpstarts and surprises at each turn, dramatic lighting, 3D imagery projections and animatronics, guests begin the 2 km outdoor walking trail in the lower gardens of the property and wind their way through to Sir Henry Pellatt’s dimly lit tunnels underground. Next appears the castle’s haunted Stables, a veritable chamber of horrors, wherein lies the freaky and fantastical home of Dr. Frankenstein, and his cast of scary monsters and super creeps.
I ain’t afraid of no ghosts
At this year’s Captain Morgan Bar and Lounge, guests may refuel with Halloween-themed bar & beverage options to fuel their fire, before they continue their journey. With unparalleled views of the dramatic exterior castle projections, guests will experience a multi-sensory experience on their Highway to Hell.
“Is it immersive? Absolutely. This season, we’ve reimagined many of the details—introducing haunting new characters and layered surprises that transform the space into an environment of theatrical intrigue,” said Nadia Di Donato, vice president and creative director, Liberty Entertainment Group. “Our vision is to curate the ultimate seasonal experience for guests of all ages, where each visit reveals something unexpected. Get ready for an unforgettable Halloween walk in the city’s most spectacular historical backdrop.”
“Every year, Casa Loma transforms into the city’s most authentic Halloween destination,” said Nick Di Donato, president & CEO, Liberty Entertainment Group. “The castle comes alive with immersive sets, spine-chilling performances, and unforgettable moments that capture the spirit of the season. We invite guests to gather their monsters, friends, and families to experience Toronto’s ultimate Halloween tradition.
