During the 2nd day of NXNE, we caught electronic mad-man Dan Deacon at The Horseshoe Tavern, Montreal-based francophone singer-songwriter Coeur de Pirate (English: pirate heart), and Toronto-based blues singer Michael Rault at The Great Hall and Montreal-based doom-pop shoegazers No Joy at Blk Box, who released their second album, Wait to Pleasure, last month via Mexican Summer Records.
