During day 2 of NXNE, we saw budding Toronto-based “chillwave pop” quartet DIANA at The Horseshoe, Montreal-based electronic band Braids, who released their new 12″ single In Kind // Amends, last month, and Montreal-based electronic-pop duo Blue Hawaii at The Silver Dollar.
Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning, who just performed with the aforementioned musical collective last weekend to celebrate Arts & Crafts’ 10th anniversary, played a DJ set at The Hoxton and Halifax-based rapper Wordburglar performed at Sneaky Dee’s for the Urbnet showcase.
