Florida-based indie rockers Surfer Blood, who released their second studio album, Pythons, back in June, performed at Lee’s Palace in Toronto last night in support of the album with Brooklyn-based rock-soul-indie-pop quartet Team Spirit and Andy Boay, who is also the guitar-playing half of the brother-duo Tonstartssbandht, and who’s style features vocal psych-pop, ’70s inspired slipping riffs and culture-stopping humanist melodies.
