In an evening of epic sensory exploration, Operanation: A Night of Temptation, which was held at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto last night, and raised over $100,000 in support of the Canadian Opera Company’s (COC) Ensemble Studio, Canada’s premier training program for young opera professionals, was a night to remember especially on the part of Montreal-based indie rockers Sam Roberts Band, who are expected to release their sixth studio album, Lo-Fantasy, on February 4th via Universal Music Canada, and who performed in collaboration with some of the most talented young opera professionals that the COC has to offer, which provided a blissful sense of harmony between the opera and indie rock worlds.
