The 2nd day of Iceland Airwaves 2013 featured Toronto-based punk trio and 2013 Polaris Music Prize short-listers METZ, along with New Jersey-based indie rock trio Yo La Tengo, who released their thirteenth album, Fade, back in January via Matador, Icelandic metal band Sólstafir, Icelandic dub-reggae eleven-piece Ojba Rasta, Icelandic post-hardcore band Endless Dark, Prins Pólo, which is the project/moniker of Icelandic indie-pop artist vavar Pétur Eysteinsson, member of alternative-rock band Skakkamanage, and Icelandic band Ylja, who performed at the beautiful Blue Lagoon.
