Toronto-born and now Tennessee-based folk-rock singer-songwriter Lindi Ortega, who released her third album, Tin Star, on October 8th via Last Gang Records, performed at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa last night with Toronto-by-way-of-Sarnia singer-songwriter Andrew Austin, who is best known for his song in the Alexander Keith’s “Toast This Life” commerical and who released his new album While It’s Still Light Out, on October 8th via MapleMusic Recordings, which was recorded with with David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals).
