Photos: The Julie Ruin, Screaming Females @ Virgin Mobile Mod Club

New York City-based punk rock quintet The Julie Ruin, which featured lead singer Kathleen Hanna (Le Tigre, Bikini Kill), and who released their debut album, Run Fast, on September 3rd, 2013 via Dischord Records, performed at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club in Toronto last night with New Jersey-based punk trio Screaming Females, who released their self-produced fifth album, Ugly, on April 7th, 2012, which was engineered by Steve Albini (Pixies, Jarvis Cocker, Iggy & the Stooges, Gogol Bordello).
