The “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin, whose five-decade-long career is unsurpassed, performed at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto last night. The iconic Grammy Award-winning singer, who is best known for dozens of hits including, “Respect”, “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” and “Think”, provided a dazzling 90-minute performance with the Aretha Franklin Orchestra, which featured more than 20 players.
