Halfway through the 2014 edition of Austin Psych Fest and the music wasn’t even close to letting up. The evening made way for the patented psychedelic sounds of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, who are expected to release their  14th full-length album, Revelation, on May 19th, and who with leader Anton Newcombe has been expanding minds since the late eighties. The night also featured English indie rock quintet The Horrors, who released their fourth album, Luminous, on May 5th, 2014, American/New Zealand psychedelic rock trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra, who released their second album, II, in February 2013, and English psychedelic rock quartet Temples, who released their debut album, Sun Structures, on February 5th, 2014.
